Laurence Bird - the life and times of.. |
So, boredom has taken hold and with it comes this blog which will enable me to spread my words of wisdom to the world (ho hum). |
New song, ridiculously happy with it. I feel fulfilled
If i wrote something this amazing, i’d die happy.
Drunken boredom = musical wonder
So, i’m sat here on my sofa at 12:40 on a saturday night wishing i was in Leeds (no offence Orpington folk you’re all wonderful, Leeds is just rather amazing). I’m not tired and the internet isn’t particularly interesting, its more a means of killing time in a fairly uninteresting way. So, internet = Purgatory? This wasn’t the initial intentions of this post or the reasoning behind the title it just occurred to me as i was typing, the internet is an amazing tool etc, but as a time killer its just a bit.. sterile and boring really i guess.
Anyway i digress, onto my initial point as said by Stefanos; Orpington is purgatory. There’s nothing bad about Orpington really (well there is i guess but lets not go into that..), there’s just nothing that good. I don’t mean to cause offence to anybody through this, i’d like to think those i care about know me well enough to realise this, but it’s just not really home any more and having only just properly come to terms with this its rather strange.
So yeah, ROLL ON LEEDS, even if it does entail horrible amounts of work to avoid failing these exams.
I enjoy quotes;
All the truth in the world adds up to one big lie -Bob Dylan
Start bit of new song me and scriv are writing, got some harmonica down have a listen
First song of mine and scrivs, i think i prefer this one? Have a listen
This made me laugh a fair bit, thats all.
Gotta love a bit of self promotion, second song by Scriv and myself which we shall be filming live next month thanks to the great Turhan Osman
So, i’m rather bored and ploughing through some lovely lovely non linear separable ODE’s (well i was until i decided to make this, i’ve become pretty good at avoiding doing work).
Its unlikely i will continue this blog (they are rather self indulgent aren’t they?), or that anyone will watch this space so i’m going to make this first post short and sweet. In regards to the title, if you’re looking at it and wondering what the hell i’m on about its a song by Gustavo Santaolalla, a composer from argentina check him out:
(Gustavo Santaolalla – De Ushuaia A La Quiaca)
I guess there was no real point to this post, but i’m going to leave you with some words of wisdom
